Johann Biktashev
Artist and illustrator, born in 2007 in Moscow.
His vivid artistic talent revealed itself in early childhood. From the age of five, he studied with professional teachers and soon became a winner of several children’s art competitions.
In 2022, Johann moved to Israel with his family. In the spring of 2024, he won an international children’s art competition on the theme “What is inclusion?”
In 2025, his artworks were shown at two exhibitions in Tel Aviv, organized by the international community ArtNeuroVerse Biennale, which unites artists with diverse ways of seeing the world.
Book illustration holds a special place in his creative work. In his drawings, Johann combines precision of observation with a subtle sense of light and space.
For him, visual art is a way of being present in the world — a way to feel, to live through, and to share what he sees.
His ability to create a unique atmosphere and draw the viewer into deep reflection is one of the brightest facets of his gift.
